Forget Vitamin C I'm Gettin Some Vitamin D

Laying in the sun is definitely a luxury to someone who has spent the past 5 years in the fog of SF. I Guess I also forgot that the sun can burn you. Within 2 days of living in LA I had burned myself so badly that my skin was purple. I can not even remember the last time I got sunburned, let alone sunburned so bad I could not sleep because it hurt for the sheets to touch my skin. The kind of sunburn where you put on an in thick layer of aloe and your skin drinks it up immediately.
Well, this week I finally remember what was good about being sunburned as a kid... the peeling skin. It's like when you let a layer of glue dry on you hands and then you peel it off. I feel so accomplished when I get a big piece. The only difference is throwing it away instead of eating it.
